Healthcare Time and Attendance for Multi-location Deployment

The Challenge: A care provider with facilities nationwide tasked their trusted systems integration provider, BCI Networks, with the challenge of sourcing and deploying a biometric time and attendance solution across all their many locations. The client required a scalable, real-time, IP based time and attendance service that could manage 3,000 staff across multiple facilities. They also needed a solution with the capability to provide this time and attendance data back to a centralized payroll processing point.
The Solution: BCI Networks selected Suprema as the biometric provider as they are rated as the best biometric devices worldwide with both access control and time and attendance solutions available. Having not provided time and attendance services previously, BCI Networks worked closely with Actual iD for deployment. BCI Networks installed the readers and Actual iD provided all hardware and software configuration remotely, training and user enrollment assistance.
The SI Benefit: The care provider’s first point of contact for ongoing support on the time and attendance solution is Actual iD to ensure they receive direct help right away. For BCI Networks, this direct-to-client support relieves them of supporting the care provider on this specialized solution, for which they do not have as much expertise on. Actual iD is purpose-built to help systems integrators with ongoing client support by offering support directly to their clients. Remote live technical support is available from Actual iD daily from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm Eastern Time.
Retail Time Tracking to Eliminate Employee Time Theft

The Opportunity: AET had initially installed the Suprema BioLite Net biometric reader at their client’s store for access control. AET saw an opportunity to provide more value to this client by offering an employee time and attendance solution through the same platform. The client was very receptive to this message since management had pre-existing concerns about employee time theft. They suspected some staff were entering in extra hours and unfortunately receiving extra pay through their old manual system, which consisted of a sign-in sheet.
The Solution: AET worked closely with Actual iD to install a second Suprema reader for time and attendance, the BioStation T2. AET also connected the client to Actual iD to purchase a time and attendance service and to receive ongoing customer support.
The SI Benefit: As an SI partner in Actual iD’s RMR Channel Partner Program, AET receives an ongoing commission from this project through Actual iD.
